Meades & Company sponsors Echoes Football Club

Watford-based accountancy and business development firm Meades & Company is pleased to announce that it is sponsoring the under 18s team at Hemel Hempstead-based Echoes Football Club.

Run totally on a voluntary basis and reliant on donations for equipment and facilities, Echoes Football Club is committed to encouraging children of all ages gain experience in communication, teamwork, education and fitness. Under the terms of the sponsorship deal, funds donated by Meades & Company are being used to purchase the team’s orange kit for two seasons.

Registered in the West Herts League, the Club also comprises mini football for Under 6’s and 8’s as well as competitive football for Under 15's. In addition, it is a member of the Watford Friendly League. Successes include the Thomas Hardy Memorial Trophy, Challenge Cup, League Cup and League Tour Trophy.

The Club, which originated from Kodak Football Club and subsequently renamed Bedmond Echoes, was originally sponsored by the Echo Newspaper. When the newspaper folded, it became an independent club and renamed Echoes Youth Football Club during which time Vinny Jones was part of the squad. It became Echoes Football Club in 2008.
